We are the fALlEn, with hearts as black as wOlvEs.

Hi, my name's Jynxx. I am the alpha of a pack on the edge of the wilderness. Our pack name? Well, we really have no name, but those around us have taken to calling us the Fallen. We have a somewhat... different heirarchy, but it works out for us. It's pretty basic, if you can remember the rank names!

Alpha(2)
The leader of the pack; hands out orders to all ranks.

Beta(2)
The second in command; they take orders from the
alpha, and are part of the council. They are in charge
if the alpha leaves, and if the alpha dies with no heir,
they become alpha.

Delta(2)
The last member in the council, they take orders from the alpha and beta. They are in charge if both are gone, and if the alpha dies, they become beta until the new alpha appoints a different one. Least important council member, although they are generally selected for their wisdom.

Gamma(~!)
The elders, generally the oldest, are often included in the council's decision making, although not
always. Any injured wolf (blind, mute, deaf) automatically becomes an elder, unless they can prove
that they are useful to the pack elsewhere.

Zeta(2)
Lead Warrior and Guardian. They devise battle strategy with the alpha, and are the first to receive apprentices.

The warriors of the pack. They are always the first to fight. They take orders from the zeta.

Tau(2)
They lead the Rho, organizing border patrols and also checking those who wish to cross or
enter the territory, and bring them to the alpha.

Rho(~!)
The scouts of the pack; they follow the Tau, and check borders, and wolves entering the territories.
They can also join in the Lambda and the Eta occasionally.

Theta(2)
The leading healers in the pack. They know what to give a patient when, and instruct the Iota. They
train those who wish to become Iota.

Iota(~!)
The healers, they take orders from the theta in regards to healing.

Kappa(2)
The lead hunters, devising hunting strategy and ensuring that the pack has food at all times.

Lambda(~!)
They are the hunters of the pack. They follow the Alpha or the Kappa in the hunts. Those who hold
this position are loyal and quick to follow orders. They have stealth and agility on their side and together
are able to take down larger prey.

Chi(~!)
The subordinates. Usually new memebers or yearling wolves start here and must prove themselves before
they are given a better ranking. However they need to be careful and achieve a higher ranking least they become the Omega.

Omega(~!)
The least respected and last to eat. They help out with the least important chores; pup sitting, den
spotting, and herb finding. They are generally the most loyal or trustworthy.

The (~!) simply means that the number of members in this rank is unlimited.

Our camps and territory are season-oriented, meaning we move through them in order of Spring (North), Summer (East), Autumn (South) and Winter (West). Here's a basic description of the camps and territories, by season.

Spring (North)
Our spring area is on the edge of a mountain range; we usually stick to a field as our main spot. The dens are just off to the side- tree root dens in the woods.
Prey is plentiful at the moment, as are herbs. We tend to hunt elk, hare, squirell, and just basically anything we can get our paws on!

Summer (East)
In the summer we move into a valley to the east. We have no need of dens, but rock ledges provide shelter if necessary! There is a river running down the middle of the valley, and prey is goat and hare.
The herbs are most abundant by the shore of the river, where the soil is the most moist. It becomes hotter and hotter through the season; droughts can become a problem. However, the river stays running most og the season, as the snow on the mountains finally melts for the four months of summer. Other than this, they are always snowy peaks in the distance.

Aumtumn (South)
We follow the river downstream, to the south, for the fall. We end up in the forest, the golden-red leaves shining around us. Our dens are close enough to the river that we can hear its reassuring roar, and prey is growing scarce. The herbs that are left are beginning to wither, and Theta and Iota must stock whatever they can find. The leaves are falling; they make great insulation, and we happily pack them into the crevices and cracks of the den.

Winter (West)
In the winter, we head up into the mountains. The Iota must bring there herbs with them; there are none to be found in the mountains, aside from pine needles. We hunt hare and squirrel, and occasionally deer. The snow is fantastic, but we appreciate the warm rock dens! The view is amazing! You can see the whole rest of the territory, and it feels like if you jump you can touch the clouds!

Our pack colours are grey, black and blue. Our motto is at the top: We are the fALlEn, with hearts as black as wOlvEs.
